Punjab: Minor drugged and raped, two booked

The police have booked two persons in a rape case involving a minor. In a complaint, the 15-year-old victim said she was raped by Akashdeep Singh of Guru Gobind Singh Nagar.

She alleged that the accused and her mother had called her up at their residence, wherein they forced her to drink tea mixed with some intoxicant.

The girl said she fell unconscious after which the accused raped her.

Police officials at the Thermal police station said they had registered a case against the accused. No arrest has been made so far.
